My graphic design class was invited by Literature House in Bergen to design a poster for their upcoming Litterature festival, Littfestvest, that fit with their existing visual profile and communicated the new festivals values.

Literature house/Littfestvest values: Local, regional, high quality, professional strong, networking.

Challenge: The poster had to contain at least 50% typography and 50% manual techniques.

​

Design concept: The idea behind the poster came from me getting stuck on the notion that paper could be the "building blocks" for literature. Presented on an almost white background, letters cut out of a paper with wood texture placed on folded white paper building blocks gives associations to the starting elements of a literary work, an idea to be built up, letters to the words, building upon themselves to fill the blank sheet.
